Mrs Julie Gibson

Mrs Julie Gibson has been working as an Orthopaedic Secretary for over 40 years and is based at Spire Hospital, Portsmouth. She has a wealth of experience in patient care and ensures that the patient’s journey from the initial consultation to the aftercare is of the highest standards.

 

Julie was born in Winchester and has now gradually moved further south to sunny Southsea, where she is settled close to her family. She has worked in Winchester Hospital, Royal South Hampshire and Southampton General Hospital before establishing herself in a busy role at Portsmouth.

 

Julie is extremely kind, thoughtful and compassionate. She works for Consultant surgeons with varied sub-specialties and thrives on being busy. She has proved to be extremely proficient amongst her colleagues and is a true champion for the patients. She provides professional and friendly service right from the initial contact through to a positive outcome.

 

Away from work, Julie can be found sampling variety of Gin (and flavoured apéritifs) during the relaxing weekends. Her favourite holiday destination is a beach resort with a book in one hand and a cold beverage in the other. She is active and enjoys keeping fit at her local gym. During her downtime, she is a doting grandmother to her beautiful grandchildren and provides free childcare / school runs to her grownup daughters.
